Last summer Pokey Chatman selected Katarina Hrickova for the first time. The 29-year-old had never been selected before for the Slovakian national team, and with a minimum amount of playing time, she showed her nice rebounding abilities. In her career Hrikova has played in many European leagues, including the Slovakia Extraliga, the Polish PLKK, the German DBBL and the Spanish LF2. This season, she joined Maxima Broker Kosice, averaging 4.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steal per game in EuroLeague Women.
