Last summer Marina Kuzina was not expected to be selected by coach Grudin but she finally was. It could be the same this summer with Valery Tikhonenko. After two seasons with Ekaterinburg, she has joined Dynamo Moscow. This season she participated in the EuroCup Women, averaging 13.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Thanks to her the Russian team reached the semi-finals of the competition. In the Russian Superleague she averaged 13.9 points, 6.9 boards and 1.4 blocks per game. Her soft hands could be useful this summer.
