Ros Casares suffered their first setback of the EuroLeague Women campaign on Friday at US Valenciennes in the EuroLeague Women Eighth-Finals Play-offs.
Nicole Ohlde scored 20 points to fire USVO to a 71-63 victory and force a deciding third game in the series that will be played in Valencia.
USVO played with grit and determination, reflected by the 39-29 advantage they had on the boards.
Ros trailed 30-20 in the first half but fought back to take a 45-43 lead midway through the third quarter on a jump shot by Katie Douglas.
Instead of folding, USVO battled and kept the game close before moving in front for good at 60-58 with 3:12 remaining on an Ohlde jumper.
The biggest shot may have been hit by Emile Gomis, however.
After Douglas closed the gap to 62-61 with 2:35 remaining, France international Gomis buried a three-ball in response and USVO pulled away for an eight-point win.
Douglas had 21 points in defeat to lead all scorers.
