Bourges Finish Perfect In France


Gambrinus Sika Brno know they will have a major battle on their hands at the EuroLeague Women Final Four when they take on Bourges, who clinched an unbeaten regular season in France at the weekend with an 80-60 triumph over Reims.

Belinda Snell, one of several Australia internationals who will play at the Final Four from April 11-13, had 13 points and Celine Dumerc, who played for Europe at the All Star Game on Thursday, 12 for Bourges.

Brno meanwhile have yet to lose in the Czech top flight with 20 wins, the latest a 119-55 victory over Valosun Brno on March 12.

The team from Brno won the Czech Cup for the 13th time in their history, Saturday, with a comprehensive win over archrivals ZVVZ Prague 93-74 in the competition's final.
