Anna Vajda

Career: BSE (Hungary-A, 2002-03), MKB-Euroleasing Sopron (Hungary-A, 2003-05), MiZo Pécs 2010 (2005-09)

Vajda is the best player of the Hungarian national team. Last season, she led Hungary back to EuroBasket Women in the qualification campaign, then led Pécs to the Quarter-Finals of the EuroLeague Women with fantastic numbers (16.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game). She's the top scorer of the team, the heart and soul of Hungary, but she sprained her ankle badly on 25th April, and her fitness has come into question. The possible loss of this all-around player is a heart breaker for the coach. She can be one of the greatest players in Hungarian women's basketball history if she can remain healthy, which has often been a problem for her.
