Petra Kulichova

Career: Trutnov (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2002-05), Gambrinus Brno (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2005-09).

Petra Kulichova is above all a very good defensive player in the paint, and is able to guard the world's best centers. She is also an excellent rebounder and possesses good shot-blocking abilities. Under Coach Jan Bobrovsky, she was the starting center and one of the key players of the Czech national team. She has sometimes been criticized for missing easy shots in the paint. Kulichova started her professional career with Trutnov, before moving to national powerhouse Gambrinus Brno in 2005. She debuted with the Czech national team at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
