The performances of Ivana Jalcova in the Qualifying Round last summer are one of the main reasons why the Slovak Republic booked their spot at EuroBasket Women 2011. A steady shooter for years, Jalcova played her natural game and dished up 24 assists while also not missing a single free-throw to help her team progress. This is evidence of how Jalcova continues to be one of the main leaders for the National Team and she has the experience of winning plenty of medals and accolades from her time at her hometown club where she has spent her entire career. She has just finished another effective season for Good Angels Kosice in EuroLeague Women where she also showed her willingness to do the hard work on the glass by grabbing over two rebounds per game.
