PLAYER HISTORY
Rima Valentiene

Career: Lietuvos telekomas Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 1998-2006), TEO Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 2006-07)

Valentiene is another player with a lot of experience at the international level (both national team and club). The 1.70 meter guard played for six seasons in the EuroLeague Women, including two trips to the Final Four, and has been a regular contributor for the National Team since 1998. Rima is the number one option to run the team’s offense, even if her numbers have dropped a bit compared to EuroBasket Women 2005.  She had a solid performance at the 2006 World Championship, but had only an average season with Vilnius during the last EuroLeague Women campaign. At EuroBasket Women 2005, her best game came against Poland in the quarter-finals when she scored 16 points.
