Bourges beat Famila Schio in a EuroLeague Women Group B match on Wednesday.

The Frenchwomen posted an 85-61 win which was largely based on a dominant final quarter which the hosts took a 28-6 margin.

The first quarter was shared 22-22 before the hosts took charge of the match, taking the second 24-14.

Bernadette Ngoyisa was outstanding for Bourges with a haul of 16 in the first half alone.

The Italians fought back bravely after the interval and at one point and got the score back to 57-55 in favour of Bourges at the end of the third quarter.

Bourges skipper Celine Dumerc then controlled the game as Schio went at one point six minutes without scoring and in the end it was easy enough for three times champions Bourges.
