Career: SMS PZKosz Warszawa (2002-04) Wisla Can-Pack (Poland-PLKK, 2004-05), AZS Gorzow (Poland-PLKK, 2005-08), Tecza Leszno (Poland-PLKK 2008-11)
Czarnecka played only a partial role in the doomed qualifying campaign to reach EuroBasket Women 2007, and has never quite been able to grab herself a permanent spot since. However, her aggression and main strength of being able to drift to the perimeter and consistently drain three-pointers means she could be back in the reckoning. While her aggressive approach can get her into foul trouble quickly, her intensity isn't something a coach would want to dilute. She has previous experience playing in European competition with both Wisla Can-Pack and Gorzow where she was a role player for Coach Maciejewski. Perhaps a role she will be asked to fulfil once again, only this time on the biggest stage of all - at her first EuroBasket Women tournament. |
