Sporting Athens' miserable EuroLeague Women season continued in France tonight at the expense of home side Bourges.

Athens have struggled against Europe's top sides this season and the game against Bourges was no different, as summed up by the final scoreline 89-26.

After scoring just 4 points in the opening quarter, it was clear that Athens had no hope of staying with Bourges. That fact was confirmed by halftime, when they trailed 42-14 and the game was over as a contest.

Serb & Montenegrin forward Ljubica Drljaca made best advantage of the porous Athens defense and her 19 points was a game and season high.

Anete Jekabsone chipped in 17 points and Celine Dumerc added 15.
