Elisa Aguilar

Career: Real Canoe (Spain-1ª División, 1994-97), George Washington (USA-NCAA, 1997-2000), Halcón Viajes (Spain-LF, 2000-01), Caja Rural Canarias (Spain-LF, 2001-02), Ros Casares (2002-09).

Aguilar is one of the reasons why Spain is one of Europe's top team. She was the starting guard in 2007 when her team won a silver medal and then finished fifth in the Olympics in 2008. When Elisa is on the court you can be sure everything is going to be under control. She transmits silent energy to the team and also has a strong character. Elisa is the kind of intelligent point guards who prefers to deliver a good assist to a teammate rather than score herself, despite the fact that she's a reliable long range shooter. Basketball holds no secrets for Aguilar as she has lived so many experiences throughout her long career.
