BC Volgaburmash won for the seventh time in as many games in the Superleague Women on Saturday by thrashing Shelen Krasnoyarsk 84-55 at the MTL-Arena in Samara.

Spanish sensation Amaya Valdemoro had 16 points for the winners, who had six other players hit double figures in scoring.

The Samara team only led 38-31 at half-time, but they turned on the afterburners in the third quarter when they outscored their visitors 20-11 and Igor Grudin's team pressed home the advantage in the fourth.
