Nadezhda trashed Arras on the glass to pave the way for a comfortable 80-70 road win in EuroLeague Women Group B which keeps their French opponents still waiting for a first win of the season.
The Russian visitors had far too much inside for Arras, their ability to control the boards by out-rebounding the hosts 40-24 encapsulating the story of a game when Nadezhda never looked to be in any real trouble whatsoever.
This was especially the case when they opened up with a devastating 17-4 run - something which immediately threatened to knock the stuffing out of an Arras team already bereft of confidence due to their additional domestic struggles.
To their credit, the home side did show great resolve, and even got back to within a point at 21-20, but it was delaying the inevitable as Nadezhda took over in the paint and eventually eased their way to the win during a second half when they were always in firm control.
Zane Tamane and Dewanna Bonner both claimed double-doubles for the visitors, although it was the nice shooting touch and all-round play of Renee Montgomery which impressed the most as she poured in a game-high 22 points.
