After domestic disappointment and failing to reach the EuroLeague Women Final Eight, Wisla-Can Pack have started to re-shape their team for 2013-14 campaign with the acquisition of Alexandria Quigley and Zane Tamane.

Quigley was one of the leading three-point shooters in EuroLeague Women last season, averaging 14.7 points per game after making 45.1% from behind the arc.

Her performances helped to catapult Good Angels Kosice into the semi-finals,ultimately finishing fourth.

Wisla will be her third club in the competition, having previously played with Pecs 2010.

The shooting guard is currently competing in the WNBA with Chicago Sky, having spent last summer playing for the Hungarian national team.

Latvian center Tamane announced her retirement from national team duties earlier this year and she will make the switch from Nadezhda Orenburg, where she averaged 8.6 points and 7.9 rebounds last season.

She reached the EuroLeague Women Final Eight when playing for Fenerbahce during 2011-12 and has also stepped out with Sopron and ZVVZ USK Prague in the competition.

The club also swooped for a third new signing in the shape of Polish national team forward Agnieszka Szott-Hejmej, who transfers from Polish rivals Artego Bydgoszcz, where she has spent the last three seasons.

In addition to the three new arrivals, the Krakow club also confirmed that three players have been handed extensions.

These include Spanish national team playmaker Cristina Ouvina, who despite encountering some injury issues last season, had a fruitful year in terms of assists and also made some excellent contributions at the defensive end.

Meanwhile Katarzyna Krezel and Justyna Zurowska have also both been retained, with the former the top performing Polish player in EuroLeague Women last season, in terms of points production.

Wisla had already confirmed that Tina Charles and Anke De Mondt would not be returning next year.
