|Italy international Simona Ballardini scored 15 points to help Taranto even the semi-final series with Lucca|
Taranto, who upset hosts Schio in the Coppa Italia Final, bounced back from their 61-54 defeat and won decisively against Lucca, 71-37.
Schio, the country's representatives at the recently played EuroLeague Women Final Eight in Istanbul, had it much harder against Comense but prevailed, 61-55.
Game 1 in that series had been won by Comense, 61-60.
In their Game 2, Taranto were led by Simona Ballardini's 15 points.
The team also out-rebounded Luca, 39-24.
Angela Gianolla, the Taranto point guard, said: "Winning is good and in this case, it helps us to believe in our basketball.
"On Monday, we'll return to the PalaMazzola."
Gianolla said the team needs to be ruthless going into Game 3.
"The important thing is to approach the game with malice and the right intelligence. We had both (in Game 2).
Roberto Ricchini is the coach of Taranto and he's expecting a much tougher Game 3 against Lucca.
"I expect a combative Lucca," he said.
"For our part, we must remain focused and continue to do our best. We can't expect a challenge equal to that of Saturday (Game 2)."
In the play-offs, he said, all games are different.
Schio, meanwhile, got 15 points and 10 rebounds from Cheryl Ford in their Game 2 win.
Victorious coach Maurizio Lasi said after: "We want to reach the Final."
