|Angel McCoughtry and Fenerbahce had little problems with visiting Tarbes|
Fenerbahce were overwhelming favorites and played like it against Tarbes on Wednesday.
The Istanbul club remained perfect in the EuroLeague Women with an 80-60 victory, keeping their French opponents winless in the competition this season.
Fener, having already clinched first place in Group B, celebrated their 10th triumph as Angel McCoughtry scored 17 points.
The hosts trailed 9-8 midway through the first quarter when Birsel Vardarli ignited them with a three-pointer.
McCoughtry then had three straight baskets before Nevin Nevlin followed with a lay-up.
That made the score 19-9 but Fener weren't done because McCoughtry made another lay-up to take her points haul to 10 and then Nevlin sank two free-throws for the 14-point lead.
Fener kept the pressure on and went to half-time on top, 44-24, and pressed home the advantage in the second half.
Nevlin finished with 11 points while Kubra Siyahdemir and Ivana Matovic had 10 each.
"It was important for us to play as a team rather than just thinking about the score, because over christmas we had changes in the team, so it takes a little time to adapt. No matter what for me, my team didn't give everything until the end of the game."
Tarbes player Alexandra Montgomery
"We knew we had to play aggressive, but still we couldn't stop them as much as we wanted to. But it was more important for us to play our game, than the score, even though its not that positive."
Tarbes forward Naura El Gargati
"It was an aggressive game, we did our best."
Fenerbahce head coach George Dikeoulakos
"Congratulations to my players because they played seriously and with concentration from the beginning of the game. We should always keep this mentality and try to improve in every game no matter who the opponent is."
Fenerbahce player Kubra Siyahdemir
"We knew it was going to be an easy game for us. But concentration was important, so we are happy with the result."
