Ekaterina Ruzanova is an experienced shooting guard turned point guard who has drifted in and out of the National Team set up in recent times. She enjoyed winning silver with Russia at the FIBA World Championship Women in Brazil in 2006 and then was part of the gold medal winning team at Eurobasket Women a year later in Italy where she averaged over 11 minutes of action per game. Since then, she has been edged out of the roster, she although could now be in contention to return. She has won EuroLeague Women titles with Spartak M.R. Vidnoje, but limited court time has always been an issue, although she does play a bigger role in the Russian Superleague.
