Perfumerias Avenida sealed a second-place finish in Group B of the EuroLeague Women with a 75-63 victory over Nadezhda in Salamanca.
Dewanna Bonner was outstanding for the Spanish club on Wednesday night, pouring in a game-high 26 points and also leading all players with 12 rebounds.
Nadezhda were impressive early on at Pabellon Wurzburg and led 18-16 at the end of the opening frame.
Three minutes into the second quarter, though, and Perfumerias took off.
Bonner scored four straight points and Marta Fernandez added a jumper for a 28-22 lead.
Recent Nadezhda signing Jelena Dubljevic, who spent the end of 2011 with Rivas Ecopolis, made a lay-up but Avenida kept the pressure on and ended up outscoring Nadezhda 22-13 in the frame for a 38-31 half-time lead.
The advantage ballooned to 53-38 midway through the third quarter when Marta Xargay buried a three-pointer.
Nadezhda mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter with two Elena Danilochkina free-throws finishing a 6-0 run to cut the Perfumerias lead to 65-58.
Bonner and Nadezhda's Katie Douglas then traded three-pointers before Rebekkah Brunson hit a jumper to pull the visitors closer at 68-63.
Xargay calmed the hosts' nerves by making another three and Bonner followed with a jumper as Avenida held on.
Xargay finished with 13 points.
Perfumerias shared the ball well and finished with 19 assists to only 10 for Nadezhda.
Brunson's 14 points and nine boards led the visitors.
