Halcon Avenida have strengthened their frontline with Hungary international Anna Vajda.
The 26-year-old, looking to re-establish herself as a force in the EuroLeague Women after a disappointing season which saw her depart Fenerbahce in late January for ZVVZ USK Prague, now has the perfect place to do so with most of the Salamanca club's players having left for new challenges.
In the 2009-10 campaign, Vajda was one of the leaders of Pecs and averaged 14.8 points and 5.9 rebounds in Europe.
The 1.90m power forward had spent several seasons at Pecs before leaving for Fener.
While Avenida have lost power forward/center Sancho Lyttle to rivals Ros Casares, they have now added two quality frontline players in Lucila Pascua and Vajda.
