A great team effort brought Wisla Can-Pack Krakow their first win in EuroLeague Women Group A on Wednesday night. It was Tina Charles, however, to take the limelight.
The 1.93 m center racked up her second double-double in as many appearances, earning MVP honours for a second time after she already took the award in week three.
Charles finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds, while also adding four assists to help Wisla down previously unbeaten Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje, 76-64.
Her efficiency of 35 topped the individual rankings, with Plenette Pierson and Anastasiya Verameyenka following in second and third spot, respectively.
Pierson led Good Angels Kosice to victory over Famila Schio, amassing 27 points, four assists and six steals in 33 minutes, while Fenerbahce's Verameyenka had an almost flawless night, scoring 14 points on seven-of-eight shooting, also adding nine rebounds and four assists.
