Stipe Bralić, Gospić head coach:
"While we had enough strength, which means the whole first part of the game, we played very well against the Italians. We had four injured players on our team and we couldn't expect them to play better than how they did. They gave their best. When Anđa Jelavić, our main player, came on to the court at the beginning of the second half, we were a different team and we couldn't play against the Italian team anymore because they have twelve equally good players. Also, they are physically stronger than our team. I congratulate the winners. We were hopeful, but we just couldn't."
Gospic player Carla Thomas:
"It was very difficult for me to play against Antibe (number 15) and Ngoyisa (number 13). They are girls that jump very high and well and they do not make any mistakes in their shoots."
Beretta Fmaila head coach Sandro Orlando:
"It wasn't very easy to win for Gospić has great shooters and all the players know how to give 3-point shots. We had to keep changing our way of playing so that we would confuse the Gospić team and this method was successful for us in the second half of the game."
Beretta Fmaila guard Raffaella Masciadri:
"Gospić had great shooters such as Jelavić, Ivezić, Thomas and Jurčević. We knew this and we kept closing in on them the entire first half. In the second half, they were physically weaker and that is when we were able to play the game the way we had planned to."
