De Souza, Ros Casares Thump Wisla

Ros Casares blew out Wisla Can-Pack Krakow 86-57 on Friday night to set up another EuroLeague Women Final showdown with Spartak Moscow Region.

The Spanish giants showed no mercy in rolling to a big win in front of their home fans at La Fonteta, forcing Wisla to commit 26 turnovers (watch highlight video).

Erika De Souza had 23 points and 11 rebounds for Ros, who will now try to do something that no team has been able to do this season.

They will try to beat Spartak.

The Russians are the three-time defending champions of the EuroLeague Women and they advanced to the title game with a gritty come-from-behind triumph over UMMC Ekaterinburg in Friday's first Semi-Final.

"This is what we have been thinking about from the beginning of the season, to get to this Final," said Ros Casares veteran and superstar Delisha Milton-Jones.

Milton-Jones, one of the top players in this competition for the past several years, helped Ros reach the title game in 2007, a clash Spartak won 76-62 to trigger their three-year run of championships.

The American dominated in the early going for Ros and ended up with 17 points.

She scored in transition and also buried a couple of three-pointers.

By half-time, the lead was 57-35 and Ros Casares lowered the boom in the third quarter when they outscored Wisla 21-7.

Spain international Laia Palau and her frenetic defending helped set the tone for the win.

She had a game-high four steals to go with her eight points.

Another who excellent for Ros in the first half was Australia international Belinda Snell.

The sharpshooter buried a couple of early three-pointers and finished with 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
