Union Hainaut Basket beat Jolly JBS Sibenik 80-69 for their third win in seven EuroLeague Women games.
Mudju Ngoyisa had 17 points and Laetitia Kamba finished with 13 and five rebounds for the Valenciennes team which took a 30-15 lead by the end of the first quarter and rode the strong start to victory.
Jolly JBS, who slumped to their fifth defeat in seven games, didn't give up.
They went on an 11-0 run and cut the deficit to 71-65 with 4:10 remaining in the game after a lay-up by Ivana Zubak.
But Chioma Nnamaka replied with a three-pointer to put Union Hainaut on the road to victory.
Constance Jinx had 24 points for Jolly JBS in the Group C defeat.
Fabrice Courcier, Hainaut Basket coach:
"We won because we played really well during the first ten minutes. Then it was more difficult, but we tried to get Jinks in foul trouble. The most important is that we won by 11 points, which is more than Sibenik's win against us, so we can be satisfied tonight."
