Even before tip-off, Ainars Cukste's team knew it had no chance of finishing in fourth place - the last on offer for a spot in the Eighth-Finals.
Gambrinus Sika Brno lost their game at home to MKB Euroleasing but they will advance to the play-offs ahead of Riga on a tie-breaker.
In Riga's win over the French side ESB Lille, Belarus international Tatyana Troina scored 26 points.
ESB opened up a 60-55 lead early in the fourth quarter but Riga scored the next 14 points to go in front for good.
Geraldine Robert finished with 17 points and eight rebounds for ESB Lille, who finished last in the group with three wins and seven defeats.
Ainars Cukste, coach TTT Riga:
"We learned a lot from our first encounter in Lille, we changed our defensive systems to stop the fast attacks of our opponent. As their centers are mobile it was important to make the game slower. It`s a pity that EuroLeague this year started so early, Essence arrived five days before our first game. And that game against MKB Euroleasing was quite a crucial one. It was possible to forecast a more successful second round. I must agree with Gambrinus coach that Olympians this fall were tired and it takes time for them to come back. On the contrary, Reyer and Euroleasing started very good."
Aija Brumermane, player TTT Riga:
"We won more rebounds, but the game was difficult as we made a lot of turnovers too. However, we fought until the end, it paid off with a well deserved victory."
Abdou N'Diaye, coach ESB Lille Metropole:
"We tried to play well, we worked hard and made a lot of efforts to stay in the game. Unfortunately we lost too many rebounds in the first half and it took a while to improve our game in defense, but in the final part we didn`t prevent the three-pointers of Troina and Anderson. We will try to get into Top-4 of the French League and return to EuroLeague next year."
Iziane Castro Marques, player ESB Lille Metropole:
"It was nice to see more fans in Riga than two years ago when I played here. It's good for women's basketball. TTT played well today, they put some pressure on us and we lost the battle for rebounds. We had won five games in a row but today our winning streak came to an end."
