Robert’s story is amazing. Just four years ago, this young mother was living in London for her studies and was playing basketball three or four times a week on the playgrounds, with the boys. At 17, she was the best striker on Gabon National Volleyball Team! She only started playing basketball at the age of 18 when she arrived in France in Besançon where she played in the fourth division in France. Despite a lack of experience in the fundamentals of the game,her extraordinary physical abilities and great skills with the ball made her a success with Rhondda Rebels in Wales. Later she came back to Strasbourg and was the big surprise of the French League in 2006. This season, she continued to improve and finished third for in MVP voting.
