Yiğit has been a constant for the Turkish team and represents almost everything coach Akdağ is out to achieve. She may not be the quickest or best shooting point guard out there but she is solid in both areas with her real asset being her competitive spirit. She is a fierce competitor who never backs down on any challenge and her spirit is contagious. Yigit is a great passer and uses her quick hands to steal the basketball. She is in the middle of every double team and every trap Turkey creates – and Turkey creates a whole lot of them. Yigit gets most of her points on lay-ups created off turnovers but she is capable of hitting a three-pointer at any time, usually when the defense least expects it.
