Despite her age, Godin is now one of the veterans of this team.  But the power forward from Valenciennes has played a significant role for France for the last four years. The Cherbourg native was already on French radar in 2003 when, at 18, she performed brilliantly at EuroBasket Women.  Godin is not very tall, but she brings lot of energy.  Because of her mobility she also has made defending bigger opponents one of her specialties.  Over the years she has developed a good outside shot, but still struggles in the low post which is too bad because France desperately needs an anchor in the paint.
