Slovakia general manager Daniel Jendrichovsky was delighted to see Zuzana Zirkova make a successful return from an ankle operation in the win over Finland, ahead of the EuroBasket Women qualifying campaign.

Slovakia rounded off the international friendly tournament in Turkey with a disappointing 66-62 defeat by the hosts to finish second after a 82-78 win over Sweden and a 83-72 triumph against Finland.

But the sight of Zirkova plundering 30 points against Finland was the biggest bonus to come out of the tournament.

"We are all very happy Zuzana Zirkova is in order. She scored 30 points and we could see her hunger for basketball - and that is very good," said Jendrichovsky.

Slovakia entertain Latvia on September 6 in the EuroBasket qualifiers before making the trip to Belgium seven days later. The return game against Latvia is on September 16.
