Dexia Namur posted a second win in the EuroLeague Women with a victory against French visitors Tarbes.
A strong first half from the home team saw them take a 21-point advantage at halftime, and despite a 3rd quarter lapse, Dexia held on for the win.
Namur were able to take a 9-point lead in the first quarter, but it was in the second that they really exploited a lackadaisical Tarbes side. Rebekkah Brunson and Nakia Sanford exerted themselves under the boards and Namur outscored Tarbes 24-7 in 10 minutes.
Tarbes picked up their game in 3rd quarter and came back to within 3-points at the 30-minute mark, 54-51.
But Anna Wielebnowska (16 points) picked up the offensive slack for Namur and the Belgian side re-established a double-digit lead which saw them home safely.
