Czech Republic: Bobrovsky Upbeat About Decider

Gambrinus Brno coach Jan Bobrovsky is hoping his team make a major improvement when they step out on the court to play the deciding game of their FIBA EuroLeague Women quarter-final series against BK Lotos.

I believe that we will go through to the next round

Brno slumped to an 87-72 defeat in Gdynia last Friday to leave the series tied at 1-1. The crucial third game will take place in Brno on March 24.

"It is a hard fight,'' Bobrovsky told

"We won the first game after a basket in last second and lost the next one 87-72. I believe that the third game which will be played in Brno will be different and that it will be my team which will be come out on top.

"We lost the game in Gdynia in the first half when my players stopped fighting."

Bobrovsky, who is also the coach of the Czech Republic women's national team, knows defence is the key to victory and he fully expects his team to progress.

"I expect that we will have lot of problems with them in the third game in Brno as well," he said. "We have to prepare a better defence against them.

"I believe in my team and I expect much better performance in the third game in Brno. I believe that we will go through to the next round.''
