Sandra Valuzyte

Career: Lietuvos telekomas Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 1999-2006), TEO Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 2006-07)

After eight seasons with Vilnius, seven of them in EuroLeague Women, Valuzyte has emerged as one of the leaders and most dependable players for any team of which she is a part.  Valuzyte averaged double-figures in scoring in every international competition since 2004.  Few players can compete with the 25-year-old when you talk about her fighter’s spirit and the effort she gives on court every time out.  The Kretinga native can play both guard positions and was irreplaceable at TEO Vilnius during the last EuroLeague Women season in which she averaged 12.1 points, 2.6 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game. She put up similar numbers at the World Championships last year.
