Aaron Falzon had a monster game with 36 points and 31 rebounds as Malta routed Gibraltar 83-49 to level their record at 1-1 at the U16 European Championship Men.
Falzon dominated inside, making 16 of 27 (59.3%) from the field.
Gibraltar, in contrast, suffered some dismal shooting as a team, making only 17 of 60 (28.3%) from the field and 14 of 35 (40%) from the free throw line.
Zane Micallef added 14 points and Christopher Cordina had 11.
Wales also moved to 1-1 as they recovered from an opening defeat to Andorra by beating the Principality of Monaco 67-40.
A huge start saw Wales hold a 40-11 advatange at half-time.
Tomos Williams had 20 points for Wales while Monaco wasted 26 from Alessandro Generale.
