France point guard Tony Parker expects to play a limited role on Tuesday when Les Bleus take on Belgium in a friendly.
The French are stepping up their preparations for the EuroBasket but Parker is not ready to go at full speed because of a knee problem which has been bothering him since April.
Speaking on his own website, www.tonyparker.net, Parker said: "I had to cope with it for many weeks last season even if the pain at some points was very strong.
"After our match against the Golden State Warriors in April, I said that my knees were extremely painful.
"The tendinitis dates back to that moment and with the repetitive matches afterwards, it did not improve.
"But I underwent a lot of treatment for a good month, and with some rest I know everything will be back to normal soon.
"I don't think I will play more than 10 or 15 minutes (against Belgium)," Parker added.
