|Bojan Dubljevic added another fantastic performance to his Bilbao résumé, with 26 points and 13 rebounds against Latvia|
Montenegro took the seventh spot in the U20 European Championship after an 85-76 victory over Latvia.
In the three years that Montenegro have been playing in Division A they have always finished between the 5-7 spots and this short tradition didn't change in 2011.
For Latvia this is the best ranking since 2005, which was the last time they made the Quarter-Finals.
Bojan Dubljevic had 26 points and 13 rebounds, while Milutin Dukanovic added 16 points and Marko Todorovic had 13 points, 12 rebounds and five steals
Arturs Bricis was the top scorer of Latvia with 23 and Martins Meiers reached 17 points and seven rebounds.
Montenegro was on a mission from the start and used Dubljevic to take a 21-13 lead after the first 10 minutes.
Todorovic joined his teammate to create a late second quarter run that pushed the gap to 19 at the end of the first half, and by then Dubljevic already had 15 points.
Latvia didn't find the tools to change the face of the game, yet a late fourth quarter run set the gap on only eight, 77-69 with three minutes to play, yet that was too late as Dukanovic hit a jumper to make it 12 again inside the last minute and secure the win.
