Juan Carlos Navarro - EuroBasket 2011 Profile

Team 2010-11: Regal FC Barcelona (Spain-ACB)

Career: Barcelona (Spain-ACB, 1997-2007), Memphis Grizzlies (USA-NBA, 2007-08), FC Barcelona (Spain-ACB, 2008-11)

Enough cannot be said about Juan Carlos Navarro. "La Bomba" has been the symbol of the Spanish success for the past twelve years or so. Except for the Olympic gold, Navarro has won every conceivable honour and title including several Liga ACB Championships, obviously, but also the Euroleague title in 2010, EuroBasket 2009, and the FIBA World Championship in 2006. He was elected Euroleague MVP in 2009, Euroleague Final Four MVP in 2010, and Spanish League MVP in 2006. The list is endless. With the National Team, he can lead the way on offense when needed, or leave that task to Rudy and Pau and just pick up his spots for those big shots that have made his reputation. You can never take him from granted because, at any time, he can hit one of those unbelievable game-changing three-pointers from 8 meters.
