DKV Joventut Badalona have bolstered their line-up ahead of next season's FIBA EuroCup campaign with the signing of sharpshooter Lubos Barton.

Barton, a Czech Republic international forward who played 18 minutes per game last season at Lottomatica Roma in Italy's Lega A, averaged 8.7 points and 3.7 rebounds.

The Spanish club confirmed his arrival in a statement, saying: "DKV Joventut Badalona announce that they have reached agreement with Czech international Lubos Barton for next season."

Barton, who hails from Ceska Lipa and played collegiately in America at Valparaiso, spent two seasons in Rome with Lottomatica.

DKV, who are coached by veteran Spanish coach Aito Garcia Reneses, are in Group H of the EuroCup with French team Gravelines, Galil Elyon Golan of Israel and Dynamo Moscow Region.

Their first game in the competition is on October 25 at home to Galil.
