Cenk Akyol scored 28 points as Turkey romped past Slovenia 96-62 to reach the final of the Ostchem U20 European Championships.
Tournament hosts Turkey will now face Serbia & Montenegro, who knocked off Italy 89-83 in double overtime.
Turkey led by seven points at half-time, but pulled away after the break, leading by 18 after three. And Nihat Izic's team poured it on in the fourth quarter.
Akyol led all scorers with 28 points in just 26 minutes while Ersan Ilyasova chipped in a double double of 14 points and 13 rebounds. Hakan Demirel added 17 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Jaka Klobucar paced the Slovenians with 21 points while Emir Preldzic scored 18. But it was not enough as no other Slovenian chipped in more than seven points.
Turkey were dominant in the paint as they out-rebounded Slovenia 47-29 and blocked six shots. The Turkish defence also held Slovenia to 33% from the field.
