Stanko Barac looks like he has just about got over the injury jinx which has plagued him in recent seasons and is now finally firing on all cylinders and showing his stellar talent for Caja Laboral. The frustration of not having been able to contribute and progress as he might have wished could have really affected him but instead, he has had an excellent season in both the ACB and Euroleague, averaging almost 12 points per game in both competitions despite averaging around the 20 minute mark. As well as being able to finish around the hoop and even step outside and drain the occasional triple, he also has strong defensive capabilities too. He can block shots, rebound and bring a good presence to match up with opposing centers. He has missed the last two major tournaments since playing at the 2008 Olympics but should be back in the line-up at EuroBasket 2011.
