Sony Athinaikos point guard Dimitra Kalentzou is looking forward to playing a ‘no stress' game against Spartak Moscow Region.
The two teams will meet in the SuperCup on Monday night in Athens.
Athinaikos earned a place in the game by winning last year's EuroCup Women while Spartak go into the clash after capturing a fourth straight EuroLeague Women title.
"For the SuperCup game on Monday, I think that it will be a celebration without any stress," Kalentzou said to Basketball World News.
"The two teams were the best in Europe for the last season and I hope that the Greek fans will see a great game.
"This game will be a very good test for us because the start of the EuroCup is not so far away and we will see our reaction against a very good team like Spartak."
Kalentzou has had a very busy year and not all of it was spent on the basketball court.
Some, in fact, was on an operating table.
"The operation that I had on May 18 was on my right ankle," Kalentzou said.
"It was very difficult for me to get back at 100% after only three months."
But Kalentzou did rush back from her surgery to play for Greece at the FIBA World Championship for Women in the Czech Republic.
It was the first appearance for the Greeks and they achieved their aim of making it past the initial group phase.
The Greeks almost upset Belarus and reached the Quarter-Finals.
"In Ostrava, we managed our primary target, but things could have been better if we had had a little more luck," she said.
