Bronislava Borovickova has as much experience as any other player on the Slovak Republic roster. Stepping out at EuroBasket Women 2011 would mean a fourth appearance at the event having played in 2001, 2003 and also two years ago in Latvia. That followed a successful career at youth level where she won silver at the U18 European Championship Women. While most of her time has been spent on the bench with the senior team, she does provide a safe pair of hands at the point guard spot, and her defensive qualities can also be utilised. She has EuroCup and EuroLeague Women experience and while not a natural scorer, she does bring many intangibles and knows what it means to be involved in big games. |
