After being brought in from the wilderness by former coach Evaristo Pérez a few years ago, current coach Jose Hernandez has kept Lima in the mix and this will be her fifth major tournament for the senior team in a row. She has shown the maturity required during the last few years to have an impact at this level. Previously she seemed to lack a killer instinct and often missed the final cut. She will turn thirty during her time in Poland and now people are giving her the respect she deserves and talking about how underrated she actually is. She has played well for Ros Casares, and in addition to her consistency in this recent period of her career, she still brings quickness down low, an ability to get the dirty work done on the glass and strong defence - all of which will be gladly received by Coach Hernandez and her teammates.
