Iva Perovanovic was sensational last summer and arguably one of the best performers anywhere as she finished with the best field goal percentage of the entire Qualifying Round. She underlined quite clearly what a potentially huge influence she will be at EuroBasket Women 2011 for her team with a string of dominant performances in the paint. A great rebounder with some powerful post moves, Perovanovic is also a really great finisher and to further highlight her quality, can boast of having averaged fantastic season double-doubles in EuroCup Women with Buducnost and Gran Canaria. She also brings experience in EuroLeague Women and having played in many of the top leagues in Europe such as France, Italy, Poland and Spain, she is a proven performer who will be a tower of strength inside in what is her second EuroBasket Women tournament, having previously played for Serbia & Montenegro in 2005.
