Last summer the young shooting guard did not play a lot during the qualifying round for EuroBasket Women 2009. It was an observation round for Danijela Rizvic. She spent 48 minutes on the court, scoring 6 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. She will try to get some more playing time in Latvia. Since the beginning of her career, the 22-year-old has played for Hemofarm Vrsac. Last season she participated in the EuroCup Women, where she averaged 3.3 points and 1.4 assist per game. Her reliability on the free-throw line could be valuable for the selection.
