Dita Krumberga

Career: TTT BK (Latvia-LSBL, 2001-02), Mount St.Mary's (USA-NCAA, 2003-07), MBK Ruzomberok (Slovakia-D1, 2007-08), SK Cesis (Latvia-LSBL, 2007-08), TTT Riga (Latvia-LSBL, 2008-09).

Dita Krumberga is one of those bench players who can provide some productive minutes when the team leaders need a rest. Like many Latvian players at the time, she opted for a career in the US, playing four seasons in the NCAA. During the 2006-07 NCAA season, Krumberga was selected to the All-Northeast Conference First Team after averaging 17.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Dita took part in the EuroBasket Women 2007 and the 2008 Olympic Games but with a limited role. She played some solid basketball this season for TTT Riga, especially during the second part of season when some of the foreign stars left Riga for economic reasons. Then, Krumberga became very solid on the court, averaging around 15 points per game in the Latvian League.
