Jezabel Ohanian

Career: Schwabing (Germany-Regionalliga, 2.Bundesliga, 1999-2003), Schwabing (Germany-Bundesliga, 2003/2004), Schwabing (Germany-2.Bundesliga, 2004/2005), Schwabing (Germany-Bundesliga, 2005/2006), Wasserburg (Germany-Bundesliga, 2006-07)

Starting her National Team career at age 28, Jezable Ohanian could also be described as a late bloomer. Standing just 1.70m tall, she has been called too small. But the 29-year-old guard likes to prove her critics wrong and her achievements are quite impressive.  First she led MTSV Schwabing into the Bundesliga. Then she finished as Germany’s fourth best scorer in 2006 averaging 17.5 points per game and finally she moved to reigning champion Wasserburg. Establishing herself with Wasserburg was seen as her biggest test. But even though the club is loaded with talent, this tremendously quick point guard managed to score 5.5 points per game.
