A member of successful EBL team the UWIC Archers, this guard is just one of three players still factoring in the Great Britain set-up who also played in 2006 when the very first Great Britain team took to the floor. Raised in Italy and the United States, she played at St Bonaventure where she had an impressive college career, a trend which has continued both at club level and with the National Team. She always finds the composure required when others around her threaten to lose theirs. Collins has some underrated offensive skills with the ability to spot up, execute a nice running jumper or step outside and drain a triple. Rock solid defensively, she is a smart player who managed over 28 minutes per game during the Qualifying Round last summer to reiterate how highly Coach Maher rates her. She also gained valuable experience playing in EuroCup Women while with Rhondda Rebels in the 2006-07 season.
