Good Angels Kosice destroyed Gopsic 106-66 on Wednesday night to rise to third place in Group C and radically improve their chances of clinching a spot in Round 2.

Coach Stefan Svitek got useful contributions from all his players, but the most stellar performance of the game and as it turned out, of the entire week, was that of forward Lucia Kupcikova.

The Slovak international had 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor, dished out six assists, grabbed six rebounds, stole two balls and most impressively blocked seven shots to reach an efficiency index rating of 35 and win MVP honours for the first time in her EuroLeague Women career.
