Despite Nuria Martinez's injuries last season, including Clara Bermejo in the EuroBasket Women list is not really a great surprise. Her name has always been on the mind of the Spanish coaches though she has yet to get the chance. Bermejo is quite tall for a point guard, with a very complete game. Although she's not a solid scorer, she can rebound and find her open team-mates. She has had to make a living far from hometown of Madrid. First, she moved to Extrugasa where she successfully learned how to get by in the Liga Feminina. After one year in Zaragoza, Bermejo reached the next level at Salamanca. Now she's settled back in Madrid as a mature and complete player.
