Nihan Anaz is one of the Turkish players that made the move overseas and played in the NCAA. She had already been a force in the TBBL but chose to play for the University of California. The NCAA changed her from a stellar offensive weapon to a defensive specialist, but this change has been regarded as a regression in her talents. Her second tour in the TBBL saw her numbers drop significantly, but her talents on both ends of the floor have resurrected her career as a star and raised Samsun Basketbol out of nowhere to a TBBL title.
